Premium Diesel Treatment’s unique chemistry causes the combustion and elimination of carbon in combustion and exhaust spaces, including soot trapped in the DPF, to occur at the much lower range of 575°F to 750°F (300°C to 400°C), a temperature that is comfortably reached by all diesel engines, even under light operating conditions. Soot is the initial binder for ash forming in DPFs. Once Premium Diesel Treatment is introduced, far less soot and ash accumulate in the DPF as regeneration occurs naturally during normal engine operation. Because the combustion of the catalyst-charged fuel results in the soot incinerating at a much lower temperature, the amount of accumulating ash is also significantly reduced. Premium Diesel Treatment addresses the root cause of DPF problems. Unless the DPF is totally blocked with long-term, rock-hard carbon and soot, Premium Diesel Treatment oxidizes and eliminates the soot and ash build up in the DPF, preventing the need for a costly, time consuming, mechanical DPF clean — or worse, a complete DPF replacement.
