AW10 Antiwear

AW10 Antiwear is purposely formulated to deliver tremendous increases in lubricant load carrying ability, wear reduction and friction/heat abatement.

  • Significantly increase oil strength
  • Reduce friction, wear & heat
  • Decrease operating temperature
  • Suitable for all engines, transmissions, power steering, differentials & hydraulics
  • Ideal protection for hard-working automatic transmissions
  • Slicker gear changes, quieter engines
  • Lower stress on all components
  • Does not alter the oil viscosity
  • Super concentrated – only 1% – 5% treat rate

Increase the load carrying capacity of your oil, whether it be engine, transmission, final drive or hydraulic with AW10 Antiwear Oil Enhancer. The high load carrying ability ensures far superior protection against abrasive and adhesive wear than oil alone can. Transmissions will run cooler, both manual and automatic, with much, much less wear. Hydraulic systems too will operate at a cooler temperature.
Massive increases in lubricant load carrying ability, wear reduction and friction (& heat) abatement. Extend the life of your engine, transmission and hydraulics!

AW10 Antiwear

Add AW10 Antiwear to all engines, transmissions, differentials, final drives and hydraulics

Stiff, notchy gear shifts , engine/gear rattles, gear and diff whines, overheated transmissions and diffs, shuddering hydraulics…?

Depending on the level of technology incorporated in an engine, only 25-40% of the fuel burnt produces usable power. And then, even more is lost through power transmission components, before it reaches the drive wheels. What happens? Where does it go?

Mechanical Efficiency, or how efficiently the heat of combustion is converted to flywheel power, depends on frictional losses within the engine. It is not uncommon to see large diesel engines lose about 25% of power to friction at operating RPM, about half this loss being attributable to friction between piston rings and cylinder walls.

Reduce power loss due to internal friction

And then, of course there is frictional losses in transmissions and other running gear. Transmissions, differentials, final drives, and torque convertors absorb energy because of the internal friction produced. Combined, these losses are quite large. You can lose 20% of flywheel power through some drive trains.

Reduce transmission temperature, prolong component life

Increase the load carrying capacity of your oil, whether it be engine, transmission, final drive or hydraulic with AW10 Antiwear Oil Enhancer. The high load carrying ability ensures far superior protection against abrasive and adhesive wear than oil alone can. Transmissions will run cooler, both manual and automatic, with much, much less wear. Hydraulic systems too will operate at a cooler temperature. It will ensure improved lubrication and less wear at cold start, prolonging the life of your vehicle, machine or equipment. Minor engine rattles, lifter noise, gear and diff whines can disappear with AW10 Antiwear.

This Oil Enhancer carries a much higher load than the oil itself is capable of, making every lubricated part more protected, efficient and wear resistant. Manual gear changes become silky smooth, and engines, transmissions, power steering units and diffs run smoother, quieter, and are less stressed, and less likely to fail. Hard working hydraulics, e.g. bobcats, excavators, mining shovels, also dozer final drives, all benefit significantly from AW10 Antiwear. And importantly, AW10 Antiwear does not alter the viscosity of the oil.

Falex Test: Controlled engineering type tests (to ASTM and other procedures) on 3 different oils confirmed the ability of AW10 Antiwear to increase load carrying capacity between 46% and 470%, before seizure occurred on the test rig. The test rig bearing temperature was reduced by 156°F under stable load conditions. The torque required to drive the test rig was reduced by between 34% and 44% on two engine oils, indicating reduced machine frictional losses and efficiency potential.

Do not add AW10 Antiwear to brake or clutch hydraulic systems.
AW10 Antiwear is not suitable for use with low-pressure wet clutches, e.g. most motorcycle clutches, or wet brake systems.
