How do I know RMI-25 is working?
You will see corrosion material floating on the surface of the coolant fluid at the radiator cap neck or in the coolant recovery tank. It can be flushed away by overflowing the radiator at the cap or coolant recovery tank. In extremely rusted systems in which rust penetration has occurred, the effectual cleaning action may reveal a leak. Quality stop-leak is recommended to seal such openings.
